Responsibilities

The Field Operations Manager is the focal point and responsible for the planning, organization, leadership and management of field operations with the main objective of this role is to ensure the delivery of consistent and superior service, safety, quality, and technical support and effectiveness required to exceed expectations of our customers, while maximizing operational efficiency and minimizing costs.

SAFETY & COMPLIANCE

+ Follows all safety and compliance procedures; maintains compliance and safety as first priorities when working across all areas of the business

+ In case of concerns with safety, quality non-conformances, or integrity concerns, exercises 'Stop Work Authority' to suspend operations

+ Maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with company policies, relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices in the applicable country

OPERATIONAL CAPABILTY

+ Developing Center of Excellence Well Engineers, including competency and performance evaluation.

+ Managing internal and external support to consistently achieve the objective of the Center of Excellence.

+ Matching the competency provided by the Center of Excellence to the jobs in the field or find another Center of Excellence with the competency to cover the job.

+ Organizing and supervising the Center of Excellence pre-job meetings.

+ Maintaining local guidelines and work instructions for pre-job, execution, and post-job performance analysis.

+ Ensuring the correct level of support is provided for each job level.

+ Ensuring all Center of Excellence jobs have no connectivity and real-time data transmission issues.

+ Ensuring all Center of Excellence jobs are in line with any global/local regulations.

+ Ensuring the relevant contact information for the job is available to the Center of Excellence.

+ Facilitating any workflows involving multiple product line services within the Center of Excellence.

+ Provide support during failure investigation with Operations team.

+ Tracking upcoming work and proactively engage line management to confirm the level of support.

+ Organizing the post-job reviews for complex wells and wells with complications during the execution. These meetings shall cover the most critical Optimization plans, NPT incidents, lessons learned, and best practices. The organized meeting shall include the Operation and Well Engineering teams.

+ Leads and manages team performance in providing & implementing designs and technological solutions on assigned projects

+ Support area & financial goals through optimum utilization of personnel, equipment and material resources, the set-up of proper Center of Excellence control systems

+ Demonstrates creativity, strategic thinking, and mature engineering judgment in anticipating and identify problems, determining the objectives and requirements of Operations team.

+ Responsible for leading and supervising a team of engineers as they develop, test, modify, and create solutions to technical problem

+ Set and monitor targets for Key Performance Indicators for the Center of Excellence RTOC team

+ Maintain WFRD rotational policy for the Center of Excellence RTOC team.

Qualifications

+ Experience & Education

REQUIRED

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering

+ 7+ years of experience as Well Engineering or Performance Engineering or RTOC

PREFFERED

+ Well Engineering or RTOC Manager position experience

+ Root Cause Analysis Incident Investigation Training

+ Project Management process knowledge

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

REQUIRED

+ Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical notes, procedures and specifications

+ Demonstrated skills related to problem-solving, decision-making, judgment, leadership, root-cause analyses, and team collaboration to lead and influence others to drive change

+ Ability to read, write, speak and understand English

+ Demonstrated report-writing skills

+ Strong communication and facilitation skills between functions - verbal and written

+ Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)

+ Ability to travel domestically 10-20% of time

+ Able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to evoke critical thinking

PREFFERED

+ Weatherford enterprise and management systems knowledge

+ Document management and control experience

+ Experience using Landmark Openwells Software
