The Catering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all catering operations, ensuring high-quality food service and guest satisfaction. This role involves managing event setups, coordinating with kitchen and service teams, supervising staff, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth execution of all catering functions -- from preparation to completion.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise daily catering operations for events, group bookings, and private functions.
Coordinate with the kitchen, service, and housekeeping teams to ensure timely setup and delivery.
Oversee food presentation, buffet arrangements, and event service quality.
Conduct pre-event briefings to assign tasks and communicate event details.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards in catering areas.
Liaise with clients and guests to confirm requirements, event details, and special requests.
Ensure all events are executed according to agreed menus, setup, and service standards.
Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Supervise, train, and motivate catering staff to deliver excellent service.
Manage scheduling, attendance, and performance of catering team members.
Ensure grooming and appearance standards are maintained.
Monitor stock levels of catering supplies and request replenishments when needed.
Ensure cost control and minimize wastage during operations.
Maintain accurate event and inventory records.
Coordinate with the Events, F&B, and Housekeeping teams for seamless operations.
Prepare post-event reports summarizing performance, feedback, and areas for improvement.
Support management in planning menus, setups, and operational improvements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, F&B, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in catering or banquet supervision within a hotel, resort, or event setup.
Strong leadership and team coordination skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and event service standards.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple events simultaneously.

Pay: Up to AED4,000.00 per month
