Job Description

1. Guest Service and Hospitality

Greet guests with traditional Iranian hospitality (e.g., respectful tone, warm demeanor). Ensure all guests are seated comfortably and attended to promptly. Present menus, explain dishes (especially Iranian cuisine), and make recommendations. Handle special requests or dietary needs with care and respect.

2. Order Management

Oversee the accurate taking of orders and timely delivery of food and beverages. Double-check orders before sending them to the kitchen or bar. Ensure proper communication between the front-of-house staff and kitchen team.

3. Service Coordination

Coordinate meal service for large parties or special occasions (e.g., weddings, corporate events). Maintain smooth operations during peak hours by managing workflow and guest interactions. Ensure courses are served in the correct order and timely manner.

4. Quality Control

Inspect tables and dining areas for cleanliness and readiness before and after guests are served. Ensure presentation of food, drinks, and table settings meets restaurant standards. Handle guest feedback or complaints calmly and professionally.

5. Cultural and Professional Etiquette

Demonstrate cultural sensitivity, especially during religious or traditional events (e.g., Nowruz, Ramadan). Promote a respectful and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a waitress and at least 1-2 years in captain role. Knowledge of Iranian cuisine and traditional service etiquette preferred is a must. Strong leadership and communication skills. Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent customer service abilities. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in Persian (Farsi); English or other language skills is a must. High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training or certification is a plus.
