Seeking a skilled and dynamic Captain Waitress to lead our restaurant service team. This role combines staff supervision, daily service management, and a focus on delivering excellent guest experiences in all food and beverage operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and seat guests with warmth to set a positive tone for their visit
Supervise, guide, and assist waitstaff to ensure smooth, efficient service
Take and communicate accurate orders to kitchen and bar teams
Maintain high standards for food and beverage presentation
Resolve guest requests and complaints with professionalism
Monitor guest satisfaction and follow up as needed
Ensure dining areas remain clean and properly arranged
Coach and train new team members, fostering collaboration
Communicate clearly with kitchen and management to streamline service
Manage billing and process payments reliably
Complete shift closing tasks, including stock and cash checks
Enforce hygiene, food safety, and company policies
Participate in ongoing staff meetings and training sessions
Qualifications:
Previous supervisory experience in food and beverage settings preferred
Broad knowledge of menu offerings and service standards
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Outstanding customer service and interpersonal abilities
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and varying shifts
