Job Description
Summary: The ideal candidate for the Workshop Operations Coordinator position will be responsible for day to day activities in workshop which includes assisting workshop manager and assisting operations team on a daily basis to ensure the smooth process. Key responsibilities: Daily duties may include the following activities: Operations:
- Monitoring job cards, daily activities (appointments) and creates reports for submission.
- Raising material requests to store and purchase requests to purchase department for equipment under repair.
- Monitoring and coordinating with the purchase department for the pending spare parts.
- Collecting daily breakdown reports from various regions.
- Preparing weekly consolidated report of the breakdown equipment consisting of minimum and maximum days of breakdown, equipment for disposal & for shifting equipment, region wise summary table of equipment breakdown of each region, number of equipment disposed (per asset given updated data) versus the total number of equipment to determine the actual number of equipment running, breakdown summary table to identify the equipment type and the percentage of breakdown against the actual number of equipment.
- Preparing consolidated report for all pending parts requested and identify the IR# (item request), SR# (outside request) and the PR# (purchase request) of both IR & SR.
- Ensuring to prepare consolidated report for all pending parts requested for various projects and send to purchasing department the identified IR# & SR# with PR#.
- Following up the pending parts requests from purchasing department on a daily basis.
- Updating the repair and maintenance manpower list.
- Any other task assigned by department head and by the higher management.
- Must be fluent in English and Hindi/Urdu.
- Holder of Bachelors or equivalent degree.
- UAE driving license is preferred.
- 1-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 relevant experience in rental equipment industry is preferred.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
