Telephone Operator (Arabic Speaker)
Reports to: Front Office Manager / Assistant Manager
Job Purpose:
To serve as the first point of telephone contact for the hotel, providing a courteous, efficient, and professional service to all callers, both internal and external.
Key Responsibilities:

Answer all incoming calls promptly and courteously, using the standard greeting.
Direct calls to the appropriate extension, department, or guest room.
Provide assistance and information in both English and Arabic.
Handle guest inquiries, take messages, and provide basic information on hotel services, facilities, and events.
Activate and manage wake-up calls for guests accurately.
Assist guests with international and long-distance calls, providing information on charges.
Monitor emergency alarms and systems and follow established emergency procedures.
Maintain confidentiality of guest information and room numbers.
Assist the Front Office team with administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Previous experience as a Hotel Telephone Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
Fluent in English and Arabic is mandatory.
Clear, pleasant, and professional phone voice and diction.
Excellent listening and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of the hotel's layout, departments, and personnel.
Ability to handle multiple calls and tasks simultaneously with patience and efficiency.
Proficiency with telephone switchboard systems.
