Job Summary
Responsible for operating, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing SW/MW transmission equipment toensure uninterrupted broadcast operations. The role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety and engineering standards, and supporting 24-hour emergency maintenance coverage.
Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain SW/MW transmission systems and related broadcast equipment.
• Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and carry out preventive maintenance.
• Respond to service and maintenance calls as part of 24-hour technical support.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety, health, and environmental procedures.
• Handle and connect transmission cables and equipment safely according to standards.
• Report site issues and coordinate with line management for resolution.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Education: Diploma in a technical or engineering-related discipline.
• Certifications (Preferred): Broadcast or RF technology certifications.
• Experience: Exposure to transmission systems or broadcast operations preferred.
• Skills:

• Knowledge of SW/MW transmission and RF technologies.
• Understanding of broadcast engineering standards.
• Awareness of safety, financial, and procurement procedures.
• Basic inventory management.
