Technical Supervisor (Infrastructure Facilities Management)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Supervisor to oversee and supervise the Facilities Management (FM) services for critical public infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong technical background in civil and electrical systems, ensuring the highest standards of operational efficiency, reliability, and safety for streetlights, LV systems, sewage pump stations, and road networks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Supervision & Management:

• Supervise the daily planned and reactive maintenance activities for all assigned infrastructure facilities.
• Ensure the optimal and efficient functioning of:
• Street Lighting Networks: Including poles, luminaires, control systems, and photo cells.
• Low Voltage (LV) Electrical Systems: Including distribution boards, cabling, and associated components.
• Sewage Pump Stations (SPS): Including pumps, motors, control panels, float switches, and wet-well management.
• Road Networks: Including routine inspections, minor repairs, and coordination for major works.
• Lead a team of technicians, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing technical guidance.

2. Technical Expertise & Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose and resolve complex technical faults in electrical and mechanical systems promptly to minimize downtime.
• Utilize advanced cable fault locating techniques to identify and facilitate repairs on underground and overhead cables.
• Apply expert knowledge of cable jointing and termination techniques to ensure safe and reliable connections.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and SLDs (Single Line Diagrams).

3. Traffic Management & Compliance:

• Plan, implement, and supervise all ITC (Incident Traffic Control) and road detouring plans for maintenance works, ensuring full compliance with local authority regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate with relevant municipal and traffic departments for necessary permits and approvals.

4. Team Leadership & Administration:

• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure work is completed to the required quality and safety standards.
• Prepare and submit daily progress reports, maintenance logs, and incident reports.
• Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure the team adheres to all company HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Essential: A minimum of a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience:
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in a technical supervisory role within the Facilities Management industry.
• Alternatively, 5 years of relevant experience specifically within the GCC region will be highly prioritized.
• Technical Skills:
• Proven hands-on experience with street lighting, LV systems, and sewage pump stations.
• Strong preference for candidates with demonstrated knowledge of:
• Road detouring and traffic management procedures (ITC).
• Cable jointing, termination, and connection techniques.
• Cable fault locating methods and equipment.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
• Initiative: A proactive and results-oriented approach to work.
• Driving License: A valid local driving license is mandatory.
