Technical Supervisor (Infrastructure Facilities Management)

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Technical Supervisor to oversee and ensure the efficient delivery of Facilities Management (FM) services for critical public infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with extensive experience in maintaining streetlights, LV systems, sewage pump stations, and road networks. A valid UAE driving license is mandatory for this role to facilitate site inspections and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Supervision & Operations:

• Supervise the planned and reactive maintenance of infrastructure assets, including:
• Streetlights: Ensuring functionality, replacing fixtures, and managing control systems.
• LV (Low Voltage) Systems: Overseeing electrical distribution panels, cabling, and associated equipment.
• Sewage Pump Stations: Monitoring pump operations, performing routine checks, and coordinating with specialized teams for major repairs.
• Road Networks: Conducting inspections for road surface defects, signage, and road furniture.
• Lead a team of technicians, assigning tasks, and ensuring work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Respond promptly to technical faults and emergencies, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.

2. Planning & Compliance:

• Possess and apply strong knowledge of ITC (Integrated Transport Centre) standards for road detouring to ensure safe and compliant traffic management during all maintenance operations.
• Ensure all team activities adhere to local municipality regulations, health, safety, and environmental policies.

3. Technical Expertise & Fault Finding:

• Apply advanced knowledge of cable connection techniques and cable fault locating methods to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and plans for infrastructure systems.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, fault reports, and resolutions.

4. Team Leadership & Client Liaison:

• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and authorities on-site, providing professional updates and reports.

Qualifications & Experience

• Essential: A valid UAE Driving License.
• Education: A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field is highly preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably within the GCC region or the Facilities Management (FM) industry.
• Technical Skills:
• In-depth hands-on experience with street lighting, LV systems, and sewage pump stations.
• Practical knowledge of ITC road detouring protocols is a significant advantage.
• Proficiency in cable jointing, termination, and fault locating techniques is highly desirable.
