The Sushi Maker is responsible for carrying out the production of all menu items, preparing the required mise-en-place, and ensuring the proper handling and storage of food.

ROLE SUMMARY
The Sushi Maker is responsible for carrying out the production of all menu items, preparing the required mise-en-place, and ensuring the proper handling and storage of food.
ROLE PROFILE
- Prepare menu items/substitute items.
- Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish.
- Maintain food logs.
- Monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
- Good knowledge of Allergens in different types of food.
- Prepare a rich sushi menu with various main ingredients and raw fish (for example, salmon, tuna, unagi).
- Prepare all types of sushi, including maki, nigiri and sashimi Expertly cutting, slicing, and filleting different types of fish.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of related culinary experience.
- Experience working with high volume production.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking skills.
- Adapt in a multicultural environment.
- English (Full professional proficiency).
