The candidate should be capable of supervising and executing marine electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of engines, generators, and control systems
Should effectively manage electrical technicians, ensure timely completion of work, maintain spare parts inventory, coordinate with other departments and provide cost-effective solutions to ensure smooth operation of vessel.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and carry out marine electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electronic engines, generators, and control systems
Possess strong knowledge and understanding of electrical and control drawings
Manage and guide electrical technicians to ensure safe and efficient job execution
Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical faults promptly to minimize downtime
Prepare and maintain accurate reports, timesheets, and spare parts inventories
Coordinate with other departments and implement cost-effective technical solutions while upholding safety and quality standards
Qualifications:
Diploma in Electrical & Electronics.
3-5 years' experience with Marine Equipment.
