Street Lights Electrician (With Driving License)
Job Summary:
We are hiring a licensed Street Lights Electrician to maintain, repair, and install public lighting systems. The role requires a skilled electrician with a valid driving license to travel to various locations. The candidate will ensure the safety and functionality of street lights, traffic signals, and related electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance & Repair: Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in street lights, photocells, ballasts, wiring, and poles. Replace faulty components as needed.
• Installation: Install new street light fixtures, poles, and underground conduits in accordance with municipal specifications and electrical codes.
• Testing & Inspection: Use testing devices like multimeters to diagnose electrical problems and verify repairs.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and servicing of lighting circuits and control panels.
• Driving: Safely operate a company service vehicle to travel to job sites, transporting tools, equipment, and materials.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic control and worksite safety procedures, including setting up cones, signs, and barriers.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship program; Journeyman or Wireman license preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Several years of experience in street lighting or a similar outdoor electrical field.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and standards for public lighting.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
