Job Overview

Etisalat by e& is seeking an experienced

Sr. Field Technical Engineer

to lead the installation and commissioning of CCTV and network systems across major industrial and Oil & Gas projects in the UAE.
The role involves supervising field teams, executing technical tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering high-quality system handover to clients.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and execute CCTV and IP network installations and commissioning activities on multiple sites. Review project drawings (HLD/LLD, BOM, fabrication layouts) and translate them into field actions. Configure and validate network components (NVRs, switches, PoE power budgets, link negotiation). Supervise deployment of cameras, racks, M12 CAT6A cabling, and Ex-type enclosures. Perform lifting supervision, coring, and anchoring in coordination with client and HSE teams. Conduct Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and prepare as-built documentation (CAD mark-ups, serial/MAC lists, firmware records). Troubleshoot network connectivity and camera issues and resolve field incidents. Manage technical and HSE escalations and coordinate with OEM support and back-office teams. Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Computer Engineering. Minimum

4-7 years of field experience

in CCTV systems, IP network integration, and commissioning. Strong knowledge of PoE systems, M12 connectorization, and industrial Ethernet networks. Experience with

ATEX/Ex-rated installations

and mechanical mounting of explosion-proof equipment. Capable of supervising mechanical and lifting operations safely under HSE guidelines. Practical experience with VLAN configuration, switch port setup, and link testing. Familiarity with VMS/NVR platforms (Milestone, Bosch, Genetec or similar).

Valid UAE driving license

is mandatory.

Preferred Certifications

ADNOC H2S Level 2 and Safety Induction. Work at Height, Manlift Operation, or Confined Space training. WMS (Job Performer or Planner) certification. Defensive Driving and Offshore HSE training preferred.
