Job Overview

Etisalat is looking for a

Level-1 Field Engineer

to join our Network & Field Services team. The successful candidate will lead and execute CCTV and IP network commissioning work across multiple industrial and Oil & Gas sites. This role involves hands-on field activity, system integration, and ensuring technical excellence and safety compliance across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the installation and commissioning of CCTV and IP network systems across multiple sites. Review and validate project drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation before deployment. Configure NVRs, perform RAID testing, and implement VMS storage and retention settings. Validate PoE power budgets, UPS/PDU designs, and ensure proper ATEX-rated installation. Conduct Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and maintain accurate as-built documentation. Troubleshoot system issues (camera registration, IP configuration, VLAN setup, etc.). Supervise lifting, coring, and mechanical installation work on live industrial sites. Coordinate with HSE, client representatives, and OEM technical support. Train and guide field technicians to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering (or related). Minimum

7 years' experience

in CCTV/IP network commissioning, ideally in Oil & Gas or industrial environments. Expertise in

PoE systems, 5G CPE integration, and ruggedized / Ex-type enclosures

. Strong knowledge of

ATEX / IECEx standards

and explosion-proof mechanical installations. Experience in

lifting supervision

and

coring operations

. Proficiency in VMS systems (camera mapping, retention policy, time sync, user roles).

Valid UAE driving license

required.

Preferred Certifications

ADNOC H2S Level 2 and Safety Induction. Work at Height, Manlift Operation, or Scaffolding Awareness certification. WMS (Work Management System) - Job Performer / Planner. Offshore HSE or Oil & Gas project experience preferred.

Strong leadership and coordination skills. Analytical thinker with solid problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
