Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

AV and ELV Technical Engineer

to design, install, configure, and maintain

Audiovisual (AV) and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems

for commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in

AV solutions, access control systems, CCTV, IT converged systems, structured cabling, intercoms, public address systems, and automation systems

. This role requires technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless system integration.

Key Responsibilities:Design & Engineering:

Develop system designs and schematics for

AV and ELV

solutions based on project requirements. Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities), technical specifications, and detailed drawings. Conduct site surveys to assess infrastructure needs and integration feasibility. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

Installation & Commissioning:

Oversee the installation, configuration, and commissioning of AV and ELV systems. Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality. Configure control systems, audio DSPs, and network-based AV solutions. Work with structured cabling, fiber optics, and network integration for ELV systems.

Technical Support & Maintenance:

Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AV and ELV equipment. Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance for installed systems. Train end-users on system operation and best practices. Maintain documentation for installations, configurations, and service records.

Project Coordination & Execution:

Work closely with project managers, consultants, and contractors for successful project execution. Ensure timely delivery of projects, adhering to deadlines and quality standards. Manage procurement of materials and liaise with vendors for technical solutions. Assist in preparing technical proposals, reports, and client presentations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum

2-3 years

of experience in

AV and ELV systems integration

.

Technical Expertise:

Hands-on experience with

AV systems

(Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, AMX, etc.). Knowledge of

ELV systems

(CCTV, access control, BMS, intercom, public address). Familiarity with

networking concepts, IP-based systems, and structured cabling

. Experience with

AutoCAD, Visio, or similar design software

for technical drawings.

Certifications (Preferred):

CTS (Certified Technology Specialist), Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Q-SYS, or similar.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.

Other Requirements:

Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
