To support O2C process optimization and best practice across IHS, perform O2C Accounting for the assigned entities and finalize applicable high-quality balance sheet reconciliations which can stand the test of audit.
  • Support change, process standardization & continuous improvement mindset across IHS
  • Solid knowledge of O2C best practice & trends
  • Point of escalation for O2C credit, collection, and payment allocation process
  • Identify opportunities for business planning purposes.
  • Support performance management and reporting against O2C metrics.
  • Support training and education on new policies, practices, and standards
  • Provide and monitor the O2C process improvement and working closely with the GPM (Global Process Management), IT and Market stakeholders.
  • Review and evaluating new credit requests and conducting client credit checks.
  • Monitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSO
  • Managing the collection of all payments and debts by chasing up overdue payments via telephone and email.
  • Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within the team.
  • Liaising and responding to customers inquiries, as well as internal personnel, including the sales team.
  • Proffer recommendations and advice on queries regarding accounts receivable
  • Oversee the forwarding of monthly statements to clients to keep them updated on debt collection activities.
  • Provide the weekly/monthly AR customer report and analysis.
  • Additional responsibilities as maybe require related to the role.
  • Involve with the O2C process improvement and working closely with the O2C revenue team and GPM.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years post graduate experience (essential)
  • Basic understanding of the end-to-end O2C processes, best practice & trends
  • Worked in Shared Services type environment (desirable)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good business acumen for problem solving
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
