The Role
To support O2C process optimisation and best practice across IHS, perform O2C Accounting for the assigned entities and finalize applicable high-quality balance sheet reconciliations which can stand the test of audit. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support change, process standardization & continuous improvement mindset across IHS \xe2\x80\xa2 Basic knowledge of O2C best practice & trends \xe2\x80\xa2 Generate customer billing data and transmit to customers (Inc managed services revenue) \xe2\x80\xa2 Investigate and resolve customer billing inquiries \xe2\x80\xa2 Receive customer payments via bank transfer, apply cash remittances and finalize accounts receivable entries. \xe2\x80\xa2 Credit control activities including analysing new and existing customers, credit worthiness and corresponding with delinquent accounts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage delinquent accounts (incl. query resolution with internal parties) \xe2\x80\xa2 Resolve customer queries \xe2\x80\xa2 Credit notes to customers \xe2\x80\xa2 Reinstate or suspend accounts \xe2\x80\xa2 Produce credit reports \xe2\x80\xa2 Process invoicing adjustments at month-end \xe2\x80\xa2 Customer reconciliations \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare accounts receivable reports \xe2\x80\xa2 Deep understanding of the end-to-end O2C processes \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrate competencies in financial accounting, analytical thinking and problem solving Functional Competencies \xe2\x80\xa2 Financial Accounting \xe2\x80\xa2 Analytical thinking \xe2\x80\xa2 Problem Solving \xe2\x80\xa2 End to End process standardisation, optimisation and automation \xe2\x80\xa2 Integrity and business continuity

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years post graduate experience (essential) \xe2\x80\xa2 Worked in Shared Services type environment (desirable) \xe2\x80\xa2 Studying or interested in studying towards professional qualification (desirable) Required Flexibility Mon- Fri work week Work timings- 11.30am to 8.30pm Travel to Africa and other countries
