and involves close collaboration with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality, timely, and safe project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Site Supervision:
Manage and supervise all on-site activities related to
aluminum and facade installations
, including curtain walls, ACP cladding, spider glazing, doors, and windows.
Execution & Quality Assurance:
Ensure work is executed as per
approved shop drawings, technical specifications
, and
project timelines
.
Team Coordination:
Lead and manage site labor teams and subcontractors, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality standards are met.
Material & Equipment Management:
Monitor and control site
materials, tools, and equipment
, ensuring proper usage and minimal wastage.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Liaise effectively with
project managers, architects, consultants
, and suppliers to resolve technical and operational challenges.
Site Inspections:
Conduct
daily site inspections
to enforce adherence to
health, safety, and environmental (HSE)
standards.
Reporting:
Prepare and submit
daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
with site updates, material logs, and manpower records.
Technical Compliance:
Verify site installation dimensions, levels, and alignments according to the design and structural requirements.
Problem Solving:
Address site issues and delays swiftly with practical solutions and technical input.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in
Civil Engineering
or a related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum
5+ years
of
UAE/GCC experience
in supervising
aluminum facade and glazing
installation works.
Technical Expertise:
In-depth understanding of
aluminum systems
such as curtain wall, unitized panels, stick systems, ACP cladding, spider glazing, and structural glazing.
Drawing Interpretation:
Strong proficiency in reading and implementing
shop drawings, method statements
, and
technical documentation
.
Leadership:
Demonstrated experience in leading site teams and managing subcontractors in a dynamic construction environment.
Safety Knowledge:
Familiar with
UAE construction safety practices
and able to enforce safety measures on site.
Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
License:
Valid UAE Driving License
is mandatory due to frequent site travel.
