Job Description

Supervision

Supervise day-to-day shop operations, ensuring efficient workflow and smooth service. Assign tasks and schedules to staff (counter staff, ). Monitor cake production and decorating standards to maintain product quality and consistency. Ensure proper shop opening and closing procedures are followed.

Customer Service

Greet and assist customers, ensuring excellent service at all times. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally. Ensure timely and accurate order processing (walk-ins, online, phone).

Staff Management

Train, guide, and motivate team members to perform effectively. Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and customer service. Ensure staff comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Inventory & Stock Control

Monitor and manage inventory of raw materials, packaging, and display items. Coordinate with suppliers for timely ordering and replenishment. Minimize wastage by monitoring production and sales trends.

Sales & Reporting

Assist in achieving monthly sales targets by promoting products and upselling. Track daily sales, prepare reports, and share with management. Support marketing promotions, seasonal campaigns, and new product launches.

Health, Safety & Cleanliness

Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards Maintain cleanliness of the shop, display counters, and storage areas. Conduct regular checks to ensure equipment is clean and in good working condition.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience in food retail, bakery, or cake shop supervision. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards. Basic knowledge of cake production, decoration, and bakery operations (preferred). Computer skills for POS systems, reporting, and order management. Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and solve problems effectively.
