Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily operations in the machine shop and metal fabrication department.
Oversee machining, welding, cutting, bending, and assembly of metal components.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control procedures.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Assign tasks to machinists, welders, and fabricators based on job requirements.
Monitor production schedules and deadlines to ensure timely project completion.
Operate and maintain CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and other fabrication equipment.
Troubleshoot machinery issues and coordinate repairs or maintenance.
Train and mentor team members on best practices and machine operation.
Maintain inventory of raw materials, tools, and consumables.
Work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to meet specifications and quality standards.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metal Fabrication, or a related field.
Minimum
5-10 years
of experience in metal fabrication and machining, with
2+ years
in a supervisory role.
Proficiency in operating
CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment
.
Strong understanding of
engineering drawings, GD&T, and material properties
.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Strong leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse team.
Knowledge of
UAE safety regulations
and
ISO quality standards
is an advantage.
Ability to work flexible hours and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in
stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel fabrication

Familiarity with
CAD/CAM software
(e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
Knowledge of

Background in
