Job Description

• Oversee and manage all aspects of vehicle shipping, from factory dispatch to final delivery, ensuring a seamless process.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to secure optimal shipping rates and timely deliveries.
• Prepare and meticulously review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs declarations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Track shipments in real-time, proactively resolving any delays or issues that may arise during transit.
• Manage and reconcile shipping invoices, ensuring accurate cost allocation and adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, production, and logistics teams, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
• Implement and monitor shipping procedures to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular audits of shipping processes to identify areas for improvement and optimize efficiency.
• Handle claims and resolve disputes related to damaged or lost vehicles during shipping.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in automotive shipping to improve performance.

• Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Holds relevant certifications such as a Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar.
• Demonstrates 3-5 years of proven experience in automobile shipping or logistics.
• Exhibits a strong understanding of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
• Proficient in using shipping software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Showcases excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Possesses strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Exhibits the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal, additional language skills are a plus.
