Oversee and manage all aspects of vehicle shipping, from factory dispatch to final delivery, ensuring a seamless process. Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to secure optimal shipping rates and timely deliveries. Prepare and meticulously review shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs declarations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Track shipments in real-time, proactively resolving any delays or issues that may arise during transit. Manage and reconcile shipping invoices, ensuring accurate cost allocation and adherence to budgetary constraints. Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, production, and logistics teams, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. Implement and monitor shipping procedures to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies. Conduct regular audits of shipping processes to identify areas for improvement and optimize efficiency. Handle claims and resolve disputes related to damaged or lost vehicles during shipping. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in automotive shipping to improve performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Holds relevant certifications such as a Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar. Demonstrates 3-5 years of proven experience in automobile shipping or logistics. Exhibits a strong understanding of international shipping regulations and customs procedures. Proficient in using shipping software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Showcases excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Possesses strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work. Exhibits the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Fluent in English, both written and verbal, additional language skills are a plus.
