Job Summary
Senior Payroll Specialist in our GBS Payroll Team in Sharjah, UAE will play a pivotal role in delivery of payroll process as well as supporting change and process improvement initiatives. Senior Payroll Specialist will work with Payroll Lead and GBS HR and Payroll SDL to streamline the process and ensure payroll governance is in place. The role will also support migration of payroll process from Oracle to SAP. Also, Senior Payroll Specialist will work alongside the payroll team to support day-to-day payroll operations (payroll data input, time validations, gross-to-net and net-to-pay calculations, etc.).
Roles & Responsibilities
Support migration project (Oracle to SAP) with documentation, UAT Testing
Support Payroll Leadership in driving Payroll Governance (KPI reporting, payroll compliance, etc.)
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the Payroll and Time process space
Handle operational payroll duties for number of business units that will entail
Preparing payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.

Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Handle operational payroll duties for number of business units that will entail
- Collecting and verifying employee and timekeeping data.
- Calculation of wages, deductions, commissions, benefits, etc. (in payroll system)
- Reviewing computed wages to ensure accuracy.
- Validating payroll information for promotions, transfers, terminations, and new hires.
- Recording and maintaining employee records and payroll transactions.
Preparing payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.
KPIs
- Ensure payroll timeliness in accordance with annual Payroll Calendar
- Ensure 100% accuracy of payroll calculations
- Support timely execution of Oracle to SAP migration
- GCC Payroll experience (must)
- Experience in Payroll Process Management (1 year minimum)
- Experience as a Senior Payroll professional (at least 5 years)
- Experience with Payroll Technology (SAP) would be a benefit
Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
