You will be responsible for setting sales targets, managing a team of medical representatives, and ensuring successful implementation of the company's sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
Develop, implement, and monitor strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed targets.
Team Management:
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives or Territory Managers to improve productivity and effectiveness.
Market Expansion:
Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and growth channels.
Key Account Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, hospitals, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals.
Performance Monitoring:
Track team performance using KPIs and CRM tools; provide timely feedback and performance reviews.
Training & Development:
Organize training for the sales team to enhance product knowledge and selling techniques.
Compliance:
Ensure all sales activities adhere to industry regulations and ethical standards.
Collaboration:
Coordinate with marketing, regulatory, and supply chain teams to support promotional campaigns and product availability.
Reporting:
Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and strategic updates for senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical sales cycles, customer dynamics, and regulatory requirements
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/sales tracking tools
Willingness to travel frequently
