The Sales Executive is responsible for actively marketing and promoting all conferences and events through outbound calls, social media engagement, event listings, and other outreach channels to ensure target attendance and client expectations are met. The role also involves executing effective data management practices to build, maintain, and update high-quality databases, supporting both current and future event campaigns with reliable and relevant contacts.
Essential Functions
Database Management & Lead Generation
Build and expand target databases based on event and client profiles
Conduct thorough online research to generate quality leads and business contacts
Maintain, clean, and regularly update existing contact databases to ensure accuracy
Process and manage incoming registration data with attention to detail
Segment and categorize data for more targeted outreach and reporting
Track interaction history and lead status through CRM tools
Telemarketing & Client Outreach
Make outbound sales calls to prospective clients and partners
Achieve a minimum 60% success rate on calls, with at least two follow-up attempts per contact
Promote events and services to relevant prospects across assigned markets
Handle inquiries from potential registrants with professionalism and clarity
Schedule and confirm appointments for business matching meetings when applicable
Send follow-up emails and support the completion of group registration processes
Accurately record daily communication activities in the CRM system
Sales Support & Coordination
Coordinate closely with internal teams to align lead generation strategies with event goals
Assist in pre-event outreach and post-event feedback collection
Support the sales team with reporting and administrative tasks when needed
Provide regular updates and activity reports to the Hiring Manager and department head
Contribute ideas for process improvements and campaign effectiveness
Ensure all customer touchpoints reflect the company's brand and communication standards
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience, with at least 1 year in the events or conference industry
Strong tele-sales and digital marketing skills
Proficient in lead generation and data research
Excellent organizational skills with a proactive and flexible approach
Strong typing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Fluent in English & Arabic
Ability to work independently and in a multicultural team environment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
