Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of travel and tourism, including destinations, accommodation options, and travel regulations.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and travel service providers.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with travel management software, booking tools, and other relevant technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Improve sales and individual & group bookings.
Determine clients' needs and suggest suitable travel packages.
Organize travels from beginning to end, including tickets, accommodation, and transportation.
Supply travelers with pertinent information and useful travel/holiday materials.
Conduct cold calls and generate new leads.
Diagnose clients' specifications and wishes, suggesting suitable travel packages or services.
Organize travels through booking tickets, accommodation, and securing transportation.
Supply travelers with relevant travel/holiday materials (guides, maps, event programs, etc.).
Collect deposits and balances.
Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages.
Achieve revenue and profit targets.
