As a Sales Executive for Events & Exhibitions, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities for our portfolio of trade shows and conferences. You'll build strong relationships with clients, guiding them through sponsorship, exhibiting, and partnership packages to maximize their visibility and ROI.
Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Lead Generation
Research and identify prospective clients across target industries.
Cold-call, e-mail, and network to build a robust sales pipeline.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
Conduct discovery calls and face-to-face meetings to understand client objectives.
Develop tailored proposals and negotiate terms to secure stand space, sponsorships, and speaking slots.
Maintain an ongoing dialogue, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Sales Planning & Execution
Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and post-event wrap-ups for management.
Collaborate with marketing to align on lead-generation campaigns and promotional materials.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with operations and project teams to ensure seamless onboarding, floorplan design, and on-site support for exhibitors.
Liaise with finance for timely invoicing and collections.
Market Intelligence & Reporting
Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify new product or sponsorship opportunities.
Provide feedback on pricing, packaging, and event enhancements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
2-4 years of proven B2B sales experience; experience in events, exhibitions, or trade-show sales strongly preferred.
Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Bigin, HubSpot) and proven ability to manage leads and opportunities effectively.
Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
