The Sales Consultant manages the complete sales process, from prospecting to post-sales follow-up, ensuring full compliance with company policies The role focuses on achieving sales and product targets, supporting customers with finance and insurance solutions, and delivering excellent customer service to build long-term relationships By meeting customer expectations and maintaining high satisfaction levels, the role contributes to sustained sales growth and a positive customer experience
Job Responsibilities
Sales / Sales Process
Follow all stages of the sales process, including prospecting, meeting and greeting, consultation, presentation, demonstration, negotiation, gaining commitment, closure, delivery, and post-sales follow-up
Ensure all sales documentation complies with company policies and procedures
Liaise closely with other departments to complete the sales process efficiently
Report daily sales activities to the Sales Supervisor/Manager
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maximising profit per transaction
Maximise closing opportunities while maintaining and expanding the existing customer base
Assist customers with finance and insurance products based on their requirements
Achieve targets for accessories, in-house insurance, and GAP insurance
Create sales-related videos for customers and achieve Venta Vid targets
Ensure achievement of internal and external Mystery Shopping programme targets
Conduct timely follow-ups with customers
Participate in sales meetings and team discussions
Achieve all KPIs set by management
Customer Experience
Meet and exceed customer expectations at all stages of the sales journey
Schedule follow-ups, vehicle deliveries, and new customer acquisition activities using effective time management
Assist customers in selecting the most suitable vehicle by delivering a personalised and tailored sales experience
Achieve SSI (Sales Satisfaction Index) targets by providing outstanding customer service
Ensure accurate collection and submission of customer information
Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with customers
Ensure smooth, clean, and defect-free delivery of vehicles as promised to customers
Perform other related duties as required
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field
Work Experience
2-3 years of sales experience in the automotive or related industry
