About The Role

The role of the Restaurant General Manager will be responsible for the overall operations of the outlet and ensuring a consistent and outstanding guest experience. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will be collaborating with a world class chef and their team to deliver a world class experience. You will be responsible for colliding the front and back of house teams, ensuring a high level of customer service, and driving profitability. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful acclaimed restaurant management, excellent communication and leadership skills, and a passion for providing a great dining experience for customers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the restaurant, including front and back of house operations
  • Hire, train, and manage a team of servers, chefs, and kitchen staff
  • Ensure that all food and beverages are of the highest quality and meet customer expectations
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, food costs, and labor costs to achieve financial targets
  • Create and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
  • Suitable candidates should have a minimum of 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in the same capacity in an upscale 5* hotel/resort environment and has a previous experience in Michelin starred or Fine Dining Restaurant. Has a strong exposure in handling busy restaurant operations and dealing with high profile and diverse clientele. Fluent in other major languages.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and challenging working environment, who can lead, supervises, and motivates his/her staff in all aspect of service to the highest professional standards with care and attention to detail and in accordance with the standard operating procedures established.
  • The successful candidate will be someone with high energy and a positive approach towards building working relationships and overcoming complex challenges. They will be results driven and confident in their ability to change and adapt themselves as well as their team to work towards common goals.
  • A strong sense of leadership and an excellent motivator who has the experience and knowledge to understand the combination of detail, quality and volume whilst being able to delegate and set clearly defined expectations. A strong understanding of financials is essential as well as the ability to operate within the policies, procedures, and systems.
