The Regional Marketing Director - IMEA has the overall responsibility for the core marketing functions, market development, and product management within the IMEA Region in relation to Water Utility Division. This includes branding and communication, market and high intelligence, pricing & sales growth, public relations, lobbying efforts, and industry relations. The position is also responsible for driving the strategy deployment in the region in collaboration with the Senior Regional Sales Director for WU Division.
What is the job about?
As a Regional Marketing Director oversees the regional marketing organization and acts as a key partner to the IMEA Regional WU Division sales head and manages direct and indirect reports consistent with Grundfos leadership principles and competencies. Select, lead, guide, evaluate and develop a consistent team of managers/employees to ensure that the department achieves the business goals.

Other responsibilities include the following activities:
  • Facilitate the regional growth plan and respective business cases/plans
  • Facilitate the WU Regional marketing plan development and oversees respective execution across geographies supporting the overall marketing and brand strategy
  • Support pricing & sales growth initiatives supporting sustainable growth and profitability for the division
  • Facilitate the yearly strategy deployment plan in the region in coordination with the sales leadership
  • Maintain external relationships with relevant industry associations, trade publications, government agencies, and press contracts to ensure brand visibility and company representation
  • Support networking and lobbying activities Regionally and locally
  • Drive local partner development and customer communities programs
  • Focus market and business analysis in the Region
  • Facilitate market research for new geographies, customer segments, sales channels or business opportunities
  • Drive feedback loops from sales to marketing on best practice
  • Consolidate and provide feedback to BD and program management
  • Establish Marketing COE by continuous development of the team\xe2\x80\x99s capabilities and knowledge, processes and systems
  • Promote the strategy for the Customer Training programs within the region and provide feedback to the Global Training Manager in order to deliver training programs in a variety of formats to support growth in the region.

In addition, your day-to-day benefits include:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Economics or Marketing or Business or equivalent with at least 7-10 years of experience in a Sales & Marketing leadership role in IMEA (ideally international) within the water/energy/municipal sector with an emphasis on business/sales development, brand development & positioning, business strategy, and public relations
  • Significant knowledge of marketing (including digital) and branding strategies and best practices.
  • Ability to develop good relationships with external organizations and associations.
  • Broad business understanding and proven ability to work across functions
  • Proven growth in implementing marketing strategies that improve profitable growth
  • Experience operating and developing a team, particularly within the marketing
