Job Description

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with proven estimation and cost control experience in interior fit-out and joinery works to manage project costing, tendering, budgeting, and commercial administration. The candidate must be well-versed in UAE interior construction practices and materials.

Key Responsibilities

Estimation & Tendering

oPrepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for interior fit-out and joinery works

oConduct quantity take-offs from IFC drawings, shop drawings, and design details

oAnalyze tender documents and prepare competitive pricing

oPrepare rate analysis for custom joinery and bespoke items

oAssist in value engineering and cost optimization

Cost Control & Commercial Management

oMonitor project budgets, cost plans, and cash flow

oPrepare monthly valuations, progress billing, and payment certificates

oEvaluate variations, claims, and change orders

oPrepare and close final accounts

Interior Fit-Out & Joinery Scope Knowledge

oStrong understanding of joinery works: wardrobes, cabinets, wall panels, doors, counters, display units

oKnowledge of finishes: gypsum partitions, ceilings, flooring, marble, tiles, wallpapers, paints

oFamiliar with shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and approvals

oUnderstanding of factory production costing and site installation costs

Requirements & Qualifications

oBachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field

oMinimum 2-5 years UAE experience in interior fit-out and joinery companies

oStrong estimation and BOQ preparation skills

Job Type: Full-time
