QA/QC Engineer - Static Equipment

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated QA/QC Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience in static equipment and steel fabrication, preferably within EPC environments. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality standards are met throughout fabrication and inspection processes in compliance with applicable codes and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing quality assurance and quality control activities for static equipment such as pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers.

QA/QC Document Preparation.
Perform in-process and final inspections during fabrication stages including material verification, fit-up, welding, and painting.

Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies and client inspectors.

Maintain inspection records and ensure traceability of materials and processes.

Raise and close NCRs, coordinate corrective actions, and report quality issues.

Ensure adherence to codes and standards (ASME, API, AWS, etc.).

Work closely with the QA/QC Manager and other departments to maintain quality objectives.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

4 to 6 years of QA/QC experience in static equipment fabrication or EPC projects.

Good understanding of fabrication drawings, welding procedures, and NDT methods.

Familiarity with ASME Sec VIII, API 650/620, and AWS standards.

Basic knowledge of welding and fabrication techniques.

Certification in NDT Level II and/or CSWIP 3.1/AWS-CWI (preferred).

Strong documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in steel fabrication workshops or pressure vessel manufacturing.

Involvement in EPC project execution and quality documentation.

Worked with clients like ADNOC, Aramco, or similar.

Prepare and manage quality documentation including inspection reports, material certificates, welding logs, and test records.

Experience in maintaining and organizing QA/QC documentation and quality dossiers.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
