Job Description

PURCHASER / OUTDOOR SALES REPRESENTATIVE
Summary: This dual-role position is responsible for both procuring materials at the best possible cost and quality (Purchaser) and actively seeking out new sales opportunities and client relationships in the field (Outdoor Sales).
Key Responsibilities (Purchaser):

  • Identify and source materials, equipment, and services from reliable suppliers.
  • Obtain and evaluate quotes, negotiate terms and prices, and prepare purchase orders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Resolve any issues with suppliers regarding quality, delivery, or invoicing.
Key Responsibilities (Outdoor Sales):
  • Actively seek out new sales leads and business opportunities through field visits, cold calling, and networking.
  • Present and promote company products/services to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within the schedule.
  • Provide market feedback and competitive intelligence.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a purchasing, procurement, or outdoor sales role.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Knowledge of the local market and supplier base is highly advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license is essential.
