Pump Technician (Domestic/Irrigation/Sewage)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Pump Technician with specialized experience in domestic water, irrigation, and sewage systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various types of pumps and associated equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair centrifugal, submersible, and booster pumps used in domestic water supply, irrigation, and sewage applications.
• Perform diagnostic troubleshooting on pump systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Conduct preventive maintenance schedules to ensure system reliability and longevity.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and pump failures.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and OEM manuals.
• Collaborate with the electrical team for motor controls and switchgear-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety procedures and standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Pump Technician, specifically with domestic, irrigation, and sewage pumps.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of hydraulic systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems associated with pump motors.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in emergency situations.
• Physical fitness to handle heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
