Job Overview
The Procurement Executive will support purchasing processes across the hotel, ensuring timely and compliant sourcing of products and services. The role includes handling supplier coordination, preparing contracts, evaluating tenders, and promoting cost-saving initiatives. This role directly supports the Finance and Culinary teams to maintain optimal inventory and product standards.
Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate quotations and contracts with approved vendors
• Authorize and verify procurement requests and purchase orders
• Coordinate supplier site visits and product evaluations
• Maintain current product and supplier market knowledge
• Participate in food and beverage tastings to assist vendor selection
• Identify alternative sources for better pricing and performance
• Attend trade exhibitions and seminars to source new suppliers
• Prepare monthly procurement savings reports and tender comparisons
• Suggest sustainable and cost-saving procurement solutions

Governance & Standards

• Comply with hotel and Marriott procurement procedures
• Ensure purchasing activities meet audit and documentation requirements
• Promote environmentally responsible sourcing and recycling participation

Job Requirements

• High school diploma with 2 years procurement experience, or
• 2-year diploma/degree in Business, Hotel Management, or related field with 1 year experience
• Strong negotiation and organizational skills
• Familiarity with vendor management and tender processes
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
