Job Title: Plumber
Reports To: Supervisor - Hard Services
Location: Dubai, UAE
Job Type: Full-Time
Overall Purpose of the Role:
To install, maintain, and repair all plumbing, drainage, and water supply systems within the facility, ensuring compliance with Dubai Municipality standards for hygiene and water conservation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance & Repair: Perform PPM and reactive repairs on domestic water systems (hot and cold), sewage and drainage systems, water tanks, pumps, and plumbing fixtures (taps, toilets, showers, etc.).
• Fault Diagnosis: Locate and diagnose blockages, leaks, and faults in pipework systems using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Installation: Install new pipework, fixtures, and appliances as required for renovation or upgrade projects.
• Pump Systems: Maintain and repair water pressure booster sets, sewage ejection pumps, and sump pumps.
• Compliance: Ensure all work is performed to Dubai Municipality plumbing codes and standards. Adhere to safe working practices, especially when working with sewage and potable water systems.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Person Specification:

• Qualifications: ITI or vocational certification in Plumbing. A valid Dubai Municipality approved Plumber card is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a plumber, with experience in high-rise buildings in the UAE. Experience with GRP water tanks and large pump sets is advantageous.
• Skills: Proficient in all aspects of plumbing, including copper, CPVC, PVC, and GI pipework. Ability to read plumbing diagrams. Good problem-solving skills. Basic English communication.
