Job Summary

As a Paintless Dent Removal Technician, you will be responsible for repairing dents, dings, and creases on vehicles using specialized tools and techniques without compromising the original paint finish. This role requires a keen eye for detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to restore vehicles to their pre-damage condition. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in PDR methods and a dedication to upholding industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assess vehicle damage to determine the feasibility of paintless dent removal and provide accurate repair estimates. Utilize PDR tools, such as rods, glue pullers, and lighting equipment, to manipulate metal and remove dents from panels, doors, hoods, and other vehicle surfaces. Perform repairs on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs, ensuring minimal disruption to the original factory finish. Collaborate with team members, including estimators and body shop technicians, to coordinate repair processes and meet project deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and using protective equipment as required. Inspect completed repairs for quality assurance and make adjustments as necessary to achieve customer satisfaction. Stay updated on advancements in PDR techniques and tools through ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications and Requirements

Proven experience as a PDR Technician, with a minimum of 2 years in automotive dent repair preferred. Proficiency in paintless dent removal techniques, including access methods, glue pulling, and metal shaping. Certification from a recognized PDR training program is highly desirable. Strong understanding of vehicle anatomy, metal properties, and paint systems. High school diploma or equivalent; technical school education in automotive repair is a plus.
Preferred Skills

Experience with hail damage repair or high-volume dent removal projects. Familiarity with automotive software for estimating and documentation. Customer service orientation with the ability to communicate repair processes effectively.
