We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced
Panel Beater / Dent Remover
to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, restoring body panels to their original condition, and ensuring high-quality repair work. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, solid knowledge of body repair techniques, and a commitment to delivering excellent results.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess vehicle damage and determine appropriate repair methods
Repair, replace, or reshape damaged panels, fenders, and frames
Remove dents using a variety of tools and techniques, including paintless dent removal (PDR)
Fill, grind, and sand repaired surfaces to prepare for painting
Use welding and metalworking tools as required
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order
Ensure repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards
Work efficiently to meet deadlines without compromising quality
Liaise with estimators and other team members as necessary
Requirements:
3 years of proven experience as a panel beater, body repair technician, or dent remover
Familiarity with industry tools and techniques (PDR, MIG welding, metal shaping, etc.)
Understanding of vehicle structures and repair procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Physical stamina and strength to lift and move vehicle parts
Valid driver's license (preferred)
Trade qualification or apprenticeship in automotive body repair (preferred)
