Overview

**This position will be physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP**

+ Provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, preparing statistical reports, handling information requests, and performing administrative functions such as preparing correspondence, filing, arranging conference calls, customer service support and scheduling meetings. May also train and supervise lower-level administrative staff.

Responsibilities

This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.

+ Provides administrative support to assigned work site to include preparing reports and correspondence, proofreading, and editing documents, preparing and distributing documents, suspense and other materials, photocopying, filing and ordering supplies.

+ Gathers information and prepares reports for daily, weekly, or monthly submissions.

+ Read and analyze incoming and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution. Ensures suspense files are handled in a timely manner.

+ Organize and assembles documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.

+ Answers incoming telephone inquiries, referring complex or sensitive matters to appropriate individual as necessary. Greets visitors, ascertains nature of visit, and directs visitor to appropriate individual.

+ Manage and maintain executives' calendar and schedules appointments as needed.

+ Acts as the records custodian for the assigned work site. Maintains control of forms and documents.

+ Maintains functional file system in accordance with ARIMS.

+ Assists in conducting trainings such as, preparing sign in rosters, setting up classroom, and acting as instructor on certain tasks.

+ Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

+ Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

+ Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.: Word, Outlook, Excel and working knowledge of Access. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

+ Must possess an active on-base and/or Kuwait driver's license.

+ Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination:

+ To be qualified for this position you must comply with USCENTCOM MOD 16 that requires proof that you are fully vaccinated for COVID-19, as defined by the CDC or host country requirements. As of now, to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 you must have received either two doses of Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine, two doses of AstraZeneca/Oxford Vaccine, two doses of Moderna Vaccine, or one dose of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine, and two weeks must have elapsed after the final dose was administered. This definition may change in accordance with CDC guidelines. Compliance with this government requirement is an essential function of the position and is a condition of employment.

+ Experience:

+ Three to six years' experience with at least two years in a similar role preferred.

+ Must be able to effectively work autonomously and be proactive in daily duties or issues that may arise.

+ Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Outlook, Excel, and related plug-ins to these programs.

+ Skills:

+ Must be able to work effectively with all levels of employees, including top, middle, and supervisory levels of management. Must be able to work independently. Requires basic planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Requires analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyze data. Requires knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. Must be knowledgeable in MS Office software application such as Word, Excel, and Access. Must be able to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion.

+ Pursuant to V2X English Competency Levels:

+ Reading Ability - Level 4

+ Speaking Ability - Level 4

+ Writing ability - Level 4

+ MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:

+ Desktop computer, scanners, printers, copiers, and other office related equipment.

+ Microsoft Office Programs ~ Mainly PowerPoint, Excel and Word

+ WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

+ Work is generally conducted in an office environment. However, duties may involve working in the out of doors with a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions, specifically desert heat. Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire and Safety Regulations and published company work rules. Must be able to lift, push or pull 40 lbs. Working environment will be 90% indoor, 10% outside. The outside work environment will also be very hot due to conditions within the region. Standing, sitting, squatting and other normal office related physical activities required.

+ PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

+ Ability to lift 40 pounds if required, standing, sitting, and squatting along with other normal office related physical activities that are required.
