Head of Operations & MaintenanceWe are seeking a Head of Operations & Maintenance to lead the establishment and scaling of our service verticals. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a background in mechanical, industrial, or electrical engineering, and a proven track record managing the O&M of critical infrastructure like Data Centers or Power Storage.You will play a key role in:- Leading technical operations- Building field teams across regions- Developing and enforcing compliance, safety, and performance standards- Interfacing with data center clients, utilities, and renewable energy asset ownersKey Responsibilities- Build and oversee the O&M division for both data center facilities and battery storage systems.- Develop SOPs for critical systems maintenance, including HVAC, UPS, fire suppression, cooling systems, and BESS lifecycle management.- Ensure uptime and SLA compliance for mission-critical systems in line with Tier III/IV standards.- Hire and train regional O&M teams across MENA, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.- Design and implement preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.- Lead due diligence and integration of potential acquisition targets in the UAE and beyond.- Collaborate with commercial teams on client pitches and service design.- Maintain strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) protocols on all sites.Who You Are- 6+ years experience in operations and maintenance roles within data centers, renewable energy (especially BESS), or industrial power systems.- Background in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering; Master's degree preferred.- Familiar with regulatory frameworks in at least one of the following: UAE, UK, Germany, or KSA.- Understanding of Tier-certified data center infrastructure and compliance protocols.- Experience managing or scaling O&M field teams across multiple geographies.- Entrepreneurial mindset -- ideally with a desire to co-develop a business unit or venture.- Strong grasp of HVAC, cooling, power distribution, and energy efficiency systems.- Familiar with CMMS tools and remote monitoring platforms.
