YOUR ROLE
Support Key Account Customers along the customer engagement cycle to maintain and extend Kuehne + Nagel’s share of the walletYOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports Key Account Manager in dealing with commercial related customers’ requests
- Conducts customer research, prepare sales material presentations and supports development of up-selling potential
- Provide input to account plan as required
- Support RFI response preparation
- Support RFQ strategy & value proposition creation, coordinate RFQ process in close collaboration with Key Account Manager
- Analysis of RFQ requirements and strategy definition
- Synchronize customer requirements with pricing teams to assure full tender compliance
- Conduct sanity checks of tariff structure completeness and commercial plausibility and initiate corrective actions
- Preparation of RFQ response including creation of value proposition
- Conduct post mortem externally and internally of RFQ results
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Bachelors/First University Degree in Economic, SCM/Logistics or Engineering
- Process mapping or re-Engineering qualification (e.g. Six Sigma, SCOR®) is a plus
- Freight forwarding, logistics operations from Logistics Service Provider of Manufacturing/Retail (min 2 years)
- Supply chain Management knowledge is a plus
- Fluent in English (Spoken and Written)
- Strong customer orientation
- Self-starter and result oriented
- Commercial Acumen
- Problem Solving and analytical skills
