Job Summary
We are looking for a proficient Multi-Skilled Technician with a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks to ensure the optimal operation of all building systems. This role requires a hands-on professional who is technically competent, safety-conscious, and an effective communicator.
Key Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance:

• Execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules for HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems as per manufacturer guidelines and company standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to identify and resolve potential issues before they lead to breakdowns.

Corrective Maintenance & Repairs:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults efficiently in MEP systems.
• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, including motors, pumps, VFDs, electrical circuits, faucets, pipes, and sanitary ware.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and service requests.

HVAC Systems:

• Service, maintain, and repair central chilling plants, AHUs, FCUs, split ACs, and ventilation systems.
• Monitor and maintain refrigerant levels, perform chemical cleaning, and replace filters.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting of HVAC control systems.

Electrical Systems:

• Perform maintenance on LV electrical systems, including distribution boards, wiring, switches, sockets, and lighting systems.
• Assist in the testing and maintenance of emergency power systems (Generators, UPS).
• Ensure all work complies with electrical safety standards.

Plumbing Systems:

• Maintain and repair domestic hot and cold-water systems, drainage systems, sewage pumps, and water tanks.
• Clear blockages in pipes, drains, and sanitary fixtures.
• Perform minor installations and repairs of plumbing fixtures.

General Duties:

• Maintain accurate and timely records of all maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment logs.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Strictly adhere to all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with other team members and contractors as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Essential Certification: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related trade.
• Experience:
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience within the GCC countries (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain).
• OR, a total of 5 years of experience in Facilities Management or general maintenance (if experience is outside the GCC).
• Technical Skills: Proven, hands-on skills in at least two of the three core MEP disciplines (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing), with a working knowledge of the third.

• Technical Proficiency: Strong practical knowledge of MEP systems and tools.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
• Safety Consciousness: A solid understanding of and commitment to safe working practices.
• Communication: Good verbal communication skills in English and Hindi. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and drawings.
• Initiative: A self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts, on-call rotations, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Attributes

• Immediate joiner or with a short notice period.
• Additional certification in safety (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH) is a plus.
• Valid GCC driver's license is an advantage.
