MEP Supervisor
Job Summary:
The MEP Supervisor is a specialized manager who leads a team of MEP technicians. They are responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities on a project or within a facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of MEP technicians and subcontractors.
- Review MEP designs and drawings for constructability and compliance.
- Plan work schedules, assign tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Ensure all MEP installations and repairs meet quality standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trade supervisors.
- Conduct safety briefings and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor resource allocation and control costs within the MEP budget.
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in MEP installation and maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Deep technical knowledge of all MEP systems and their integration.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent understanding of building codes and safety standards.
