Claywatt Construction is looking to appoint an experienced and technically capable

MEP Site Foreman

to join our on-site operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems, particularly in villa and low-rise building projects within Dubai.

About the Role

As the MEP Site Foreman, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the day-to-day execution of MEP works on active construction sites. You will ensure that installations meet design specifications, are compliant with UAE authority standards, and are completed within the approved project timeline and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise on-site execution of all MEP activities including electrical, plumbing, drainage, HVAC, and firefighting systems Coordinate between MEP subcontractors, civil works, and consultants to avoid service conflicts and delays Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and DM/DCD/DEWA requirements Monitor progress, manpower deployment, and material usage on-site; update daily site reports Prepare and submit inspection requests (IRs), material inspection requests (MIRs), and assist during consultant and authority inspections Enforce site safety protocols and quality control standards Provide technical guidance to technicians and skilled labour during installation and commissioning phases Identify and report site issues and coordinate timely resolutions with the engineering team

Candidate Profile

Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering Minimum of

5 years of relevant MEP site experience

, including at least

3 years in Dubai

on villa and low-rise residential or commercial projects Solid understanding of

DM, DCD, and DEWA

regulations and inspection procedures Experience managing teams and coordinating multiple MEP trades under tight schedules Able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and method statements Familiar with site documentation processes including IRs, MIRs, work permits, and redlining Effective communication and leadership skills; fluency in English required UAE driving license is preferred
