Key Responsibilities
Review and validate
MEP drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings
for interior fit-out projects.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to resolve technical issues.
Ensure all MEP installations are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and authority regulations.
Conduct
site inspections
, monitor progress, and ensure proper implementation of MEP works.
Prepare and review
load calculations, material submissions, method statements, and technical reports
.
Identify MEP requirements for each project and provide accurate inputs to the design and procurement teams.
Manage and follow up on
material deliveries, subcontractors, and installation schedules
.
Ensure all MEP systems--HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, firefighting--are properly tested and commissioned.
Maintain documentation for inspections, approvals, and QA/QC compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
3-6 years of MEP experience
, with at least
2 years in interior fit-out
(mandatory).
Strong knowledge of UAE authority standards (DEWA, DCD, DM, etc.).
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MEP software, and MS Office.
Strong problem-solving, coordination, and site supervision skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
