The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, coordination, installation, and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems in fit-out projects. You will collaborate with consultants, clients, and project teams to ensure MEP systems meet quality standards, comply with local regulations, and are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Planning:
Develop MEP design plans, specifications, and drawings in compliance with local building codes.
Coordination:
Work closely with consultants, project managers, and contractors to integrate MEP systems seamlessly into project designs.
Installation & Commissioning:
Oversee the installation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
Cost Estimation:
Prepare budgets and monitor expenses for MEP systems throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality Control:
Implement quality checks, conduct inspections, and perform tests to ensure system reliability and performance.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records, create as-built drawings, and provide handover documentation.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure all MEP work follows safety regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in
Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering
(or related field).
Minimum
8 years of experience
in MEP fit-out projects, with
Middle East experience preferred
.
Valid UAE Driving License
(required).
Proficiency in
AutoCAD
and MEP design software.
Strong knowledge of
local building codes and regulations
.
Excellent
project management, communication, and teamwork
skills.
