Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed shop drawings for MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing).
Review and coordinate architectural/interior design drawings for accurate MEP layouts.
Prepare coordination drawings integrating HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire fighting systems.
Update and revise drawings based on site conditions or consultant/engineer feedback.
Ensure compliance with local authority standards and project specifications.
Assist in the preparation of quantity take-offs and BOQs.
Collaborate with project and site teams to resolve design-related issues.
Maintain organized documentation and drawing records.
Create as-built drawings post project completion.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in MEP drafting, especially for interior fit-out projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or other MEP/BIM software is an advantage.
Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, fire fighting, and electrical systems.
Familiar with local authority standards (e.g., DM, DEWA, Civil Defense).
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
