Key Accountabilities (6 \xe2\x80\x93 8 accountabilities max)
- Develop the required design depending on business needs and requirements.
- To mainly focus on the design of Service Delivery Platforms, Data Centres, Internal customer networks like WiFi access and WiFi core, ORAN, Private Network 5G and Mobile MVPN.
- Develops project implementation plans in line with business and time to market objectives that clearly visualize the critical path.
- Carry out capacity planning exercise to ensure all time availability of all services.
- To actively participate in generating, floating and evaluating new Request For Proposal (RFPs) to procure new solutions, or upgrade/Expand existing setup.
- Conduct review meetings on new projects and existing to make sure all stake holders are in line with the objective.
- Plan and execute technology evaluation, selection, and procurement process for Data Centre Network and Service Delivery Platforms and services, ensuring compliance with company short- and long-term objectives.
- Prepare the required Bill of Quantities (BoQ\xe2\x80\x99s) for supporting in the budget planning exercise.
- Perform network optimization and utilization of available resources through redeployment or re-allocation.
- Conduct discussion with customer to understand the requirement and propose/build proper solution fit customer requirements.
- Conduct validation of vendor\xe2\x80\x99s delivery and acceptance of testing plans through cross-departments\xe2\x80\x99 discussions and analysis from end-to-end solution perspective.
- Keep up to date with new technology to meet the current need and business growth requirements.
- Develop and agree with line manager on plans to continually develop own skills and knowledge through understanding own strengths and weaknesses.
- Minimum Bachelor degree in Electrical or Electronics and Communications Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent
- Technical Certifications in Networking/IT technologies are add-ons
- Minimum 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 Experience in the IT/Telecommunications field of which at least 5 years in Wireless design, WiFi, and RAN and design and implementation.
- Must have good experience developing and designing highly available IP networks.
- Must have good experience in installation and commissioning of routers and switches and integrating it to production network.
- Experience in service provider environment is a big plus.
- Must have IP/MPLS network skills and understanding.
- Knowledge in cloud and VNFs understanding the Virtualization and containerization is plus.
- Strong WiFi, RAN, and MPN Network Services Design skills.
- Strong team & resource management skills
- Good experience in IP Technologies (Routing &Switching, MPLS, BGP, OSPF,IT Virtualization & Cloud Computing and NGN telecom System & Applications)
- Knowledgeable/Certified in best practice / process standards and methodologies.
- Proficient communication and planning skills
- Fluent in English.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- Good understanding of Business & IT Intersection.
