The Maintenance Manager will manage, coordinate, and direct the activities of the maintenance department for the Plant in accordance with overall Manufacturing and Corporate objectives. QUALITY

OPERATIONS
Responsible for managing the maintenance personnel and resources, and to direct the department toward fulfilment.
Provide overall direction and coordination to personnel involved in the repair and maintenance of equipment to minimize interruption and improve efficiency.
Assist in hiring, training, and supervision of maintenance technicians.
Conduct investigations (root cause) for solving maintenance problems in the plant.
Establish and maintain a Preventative Maintenance (PM) program for critical equipment.
Ensure compliance to the Mechanical Integrity tenet of Plant Source Material for equipment.
Know and understand Weatherford Quality Policy and comply with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures and Workplace Instructions.
Manage and ensure that all safety rules and company policies of Weatherford are being adopted and followed by the maintenance departments.
Responsible for the execution of internal maintenance projects through subordinates; take appropriate corrective action on a timely basis to keep them within budget and on time.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Develop budget for department; monitor and analyze maintenance costs through various performance indicators and take timely corrective action in order to meet ADM goals/targets.
Establish and maintain a storeroom, with parts in JDE and bill of materials for equipment.
Manage subordinates so as to improve their performance and skills in order to maintain/improve individual and departmental productivity and safety performance.
Establish maintenance planning procedures that include the use of job plans.
Creation of Global Modelling and Assimilation Office
COMMUNICATION
Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate external
Supervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports
FINANCIAL
All employees have an accountability to the organisation to be financially responsible whether they are in charge of a function budget or simply their own expenses
Costs incurred should be within approved budget, processed within agreed time frames & following the relevant financial policy and procedure

Qualifications: Experience & Education REQUIRED
7+ years experience in an industrial setting, preferably Oil and Gas manufacturing, with technical and supervisory responsibilities
Project experience with maintenance
PREFERRED
4 year degree in Engineering - Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, and/or Industrial
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities REQUIRED
Must have interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively
Knowledge and experience in project management
Computer literate
PREFERRED
Prior experience with reliability based maintenance programs
Communicate abstract and technical concepts effectively at all levels within the organization
