Legal Executive with Banking Experience: Job Title: Legal Executive - Banking and Financial Services Location: Dubai Job Type: Full-Time Overview: We are looking for a skilled and proactive Legal Executive with strong experience in the banking and financial services industry. This role involves providing expert legal support on matters such as commercial lending, regulatory compliance, contracts, and financial transactions. The successful candidate will work closely with internal legal counsel and business units to ensure legal integrity in all banking operations. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including loan agreements, facility letters, securities documentation, and service contracts. Advise on banking regulations, anti-money laundering (AML), and data protection laws. Ensure legal compliance with local and international banking regulations. Liaise with external counsel on complex legal matters and litigation. Assist in the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures. Conduct legal research and analysis on regulatory changes impacting the banking sector. Provide legal risk assessments on new banking products or services. Support due diligence processes for corporate transactions and loan syndications. Qualifications: Degree in Law (LL.B or equivalent); additional legal certifications or a Master's in Banking Law is an advantage. 3-5 years of legal experience in a banking or financial services environment. Solid knowledge of banking law, contract law, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., Basel III, GDPR, AML/CFT). Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Preferred Skills: Experience working with financial regulators or central banks. Familiarity with international banking transactions and cross-border legal issues. Proficiency in legal document management systems and banking software.
